El proyecto de tesis ‘’Instituto Tecnológico Cultural en Rímac’’ se encuentra enmarcado en el contexto del campus universitario de la Universidad Nacional de Ingeniería. En líneas generales, un edificio educativo se encuentra situado en un contexto social y urbano. En el caso de las instituciones educativas de Educación Superior, buscan producir profesionales competitivos para insertarse en el ámbito laboral. Sin embargo, cuando nos referimos a una institución de esta naturaleza insertado en un campus universitario, es inevitable tener en cuenta el contexto del edificio, ya sea con un valor paisajístico, social, cultural, donde más allá del rol por cumplir en sí de la tipología, puede tomar como recursos los diversos factores que rodean su emplazamiento y poder enriquecer no solo al entorno mismo como resultado, sino como insumo para el diseño y funcionamiento del propio edificio. Este proyecto de tesis propone esa búsqueda y reflexión para indagar sobre propuestas arquitectónicas que van más allá del acoplamiento al entorno mismo y el funcionamiento racional cuando se encuentra envuelta entre ciertos factores en su entorno, como la zona urbanizada frente a la universidad, el entorno natural que colinda con el campus, la huaca UNI-CISMID y el propio campus universitario de la Universidad Nacional de Ingeniería. |

In general, an educational building is located in a social and urban context. In the case of educational institutions of Higher Education, they seek to produce competitive professionals to enter the workplace. However, when we refer to an institution of this nature inserted in a university campus, it is inevitable to take into account the context of the building, whether it has a landscape, social, cultural value, where beyond the role to be fulfilled by the typology, can take as resources the various factors that surround its location and be able to enrich not only the environment itself as a result, but also as an input for the design and operation of the building itself.
