description La presente investigación comprende el desarrollo del proyecto denominado Centro de Servicios Turísticos en el Centro Histórico de Lima, el cual comprende una regeneración urbana dentro de la zona de intervención. El objetivo del proyecto es entonces, brindar una edificación que brinde servicios turísticos de calidad, contribuyendo de esta manera a su desarrollo físico, económico y social. El proyecto al ubicarse estratégicamente entre el Jirón de la Unión y Jirón Tambo de Belén, le dará una revalorización de las áreas públicas, a través de estrategias espaciales y visuales; teniendo como pilar fundamental al peatón. Además, se busca que el proyecto logre ser un hito contemporáneo, adecuándose al entorno inmediato. Se explora a la vez un modo de intervención dentro de la zona considerada de valor monumental, de tal modo que se revalorice el valor patrimonial del Centro Histórico. Los usos predominantes del proyecto son el Hotel de 4 estrellas, área comercial y área para centro de convenciones; siguiendo las pautas y recomendaciones de la normativa establecida.

The objective of the project is to provide a building that offers quality tourist services, thus contributing to its physical, economic and social development. The project, strategically located between Jiron de la Union and Jiron Tambo de Belen, will give a revaluation of the public áreas, through spatial and visual strategies; having the pedestrian as a fundamental pillar. In addition, the project seeks to be a contemporary landmark, adapting to the immediate enviroment. At the same time, an intervention mode is explored within the área considered of monumental value, in such a way that the heritage value of the historic center is revalued.
