Esta investigación mejoró las herramientas proactivas Near Miss e Inspecciones; realizando estas mejoras se redujo los incidentes reportados que generaron algún tipo de daño desde enero hasta octubre del año 2022. Las mejoras realizadas se enfocaron en aumentar la cantidad de reportes de Near Miss y registros de inspecciones, así como la calidad de los reportes realizados; después de ello garantizar la ejecución de las acciones a través del seguimiento, las principales implementaciones fueron: Liderazgo Visible, KPI para contratistas, aplicativo para celular, campañas de seguridad, reuniones de inicio de labor, 9 reglas de vida, 7 reglas de oro, seguimiento de reporte de actos subestándar, seguimiento de reporte de condiciones subestándar. La cantidad de reportes Near Miss después de las mejoras fue de 2395 reportes, esto representa el 67.35% del total de reportes en el periodo del año 2017 al 2022; la cantidad de registros de inspecciones después de las mejoras fue de 289, esto representa el 63.10 % del total de registros en el periodo del año 2017 al 2022. Estos reportes ayudaron a gestionar los actos subestándares, condiciones subestándares y otros desvíos de manera oportuna para la prevención de incidentes que se pudieron derivar de estas causas inmediatas.
