El proyecto “Estación Intermodal de transporte de Lima Sur” forma parte de la propuesta urbana desarrollada en el Taller de Tesis A, en los dos últimos ciclos de Arquitectura cursados en la Facultad de Arquitectura, Urbanismo y Artes de la Universidad Nacional de Ingeniería. La estación intermodal tiene como ubicación el cruce de las avenidas Panamericana Sur y prolongación Paseo de la República, esta última vía se haya como límite de los distritos Santiago de Surco y San Juan de Miraflores de Lima Metropolitana (Lima Sur). La zona intervenida se presenta como un punto estratégico de crecimiento y desarrollo que es a su vez es un punto importante de conexiones de Lima y otras ciudades importantes al sur. Este terminal se enlaza de forma estratégica con varios proyectos importantes, la ampliación de la avenida Paseo de la República (Vía Expresa Sur) que suma la ampliación Metropolitano (Sistema BRT), la implementación del nuevo Sistema Integrado de Transporte (SIT), la Línea 3 del Metro de Lima y proyecto de trenes de cercanía Lima-Ica. Por lo tanto, esta estación intermodal se prevé como un proyecto estratégico para toda Lima por ser un punto importante de conexiones, además de poder potenciar una centralidad creciente, generando así desarrollo inmobiliario y la construcción de equipamiento público. |

The intermodal station is located at the intersection of the Panamericana Sur and the Paseo de la República extension avenues, the latter being the limit of the Santiago de Surco and San Juan de Miraflores districts of Metropolitan Lima (South Lima). The intervened area is presented as a strategic point of growth and development that is in turn an important connection point for Lima and other major cities to the south. This terminal is strategically linked to several important projects, the expansion of Paseo de la República avenue (Vía Expresa Sur) that adds the Metropolitan expansion (BRT System), the implementation of the new Integrated Transportation System (SIT), the Line 3 of the Lima Metro and Lima-Ica suburban train project.
