description Objetivo: Determinar el conocimiento relacionado a las actitudes sobre el tamizaje neonatal en puérperas atendidas en un centro materno de Lima Norte - 2023. Materiales y métodos: Es un estudio de enfoque cuantitativo, nivel correlacional, diseño no experimental y de corte transversal. La población estuvo conformada por 77 puérperas de un centro materno de Lima Norte. Se empleó un cuestionario de 20 ítems para la variable conocimientos y un cuestionario de 15 ítems para la variable actitudes. Resultados: El 53,2% de puérperas tienen un nivel medio de conocimiento, el 35,1% posee un nivel alto de conocimiento y el 11,7% tiene un nivel bajo de conocimiento sobre el tamizaje neonatal. En cuanto a las actitudes, el 70,1% de puérperas tienen una actitud positiva frente al tamizaje neonatal y 29,9% tienen una actitud negativa frente al tamizaje neonatal. Conclusiones: Después de aplicar el coeficiente de correlación de r de Pearson se determinó que existe una relación entre las variables conocimientos y actitudes hacia el tamizaje neonatal en puérperas de un centro materno de Lima Norte.

Materials and Methods: This is a quantitative approach study with a correlational, cross-sectional, and non-experimental design. The population consisted of 77 postpartum women from a maternity center in Lima Norte. A 20-item questionnaire was used for the knowledge variable, and a 15-item questionnaire for the attitudes variable. Results: 53.2% of postpartum women have a moderate level of knowledge, 35.1% have a high level of knowledge, and 11.7% have a low level of knowledge about neonatal screening. Regarding attitudes, 70.1% of postpartum women have a positive attitude towards neonatal screening, and 29.9% have a negative attitude towards neonatal screening.
