description El uso del drone en minería en la actualidad es una necesidad ya que el uso y sus  aplicaciones ayudan a tener un resultado de forma rápida con respecto a otros equipos, para poder saber qué tipo de drone utilizar es necesario realizar una investigación delos tipos de drones, aspectos técnicos del equipo los cuales los obtenemos en los expedientes técnicos de cada equipo, realizar una investigación profunda de este tema ayuda a utilizar esta herramienta de forma óptima, es importante reconocer cuán importante es la fotogrametría para el funcionamiento del drone además de comparar este equipo con otras herramientas de topografía tradicional como una estación total. La metodología utilizada en este proyecto se basa en la recolección de datos y la validación de la información utilizando fuentes bibliográficas confiables además de recurrir a investigaciones anteriores que ayudan a tener un conocimiento más amplio del uso del drone en diferentes campos de estudio y sus ventajas.
