Ante esto, las universidades deben asumir la transferencia de capacidades para su adecuado uso en esta área. Por ello, el propósito de esta investigación es realizar un análisis de la capacidad de gestión de la información para la investigación en estudiantes peruanos de ingeniería a partir de tres capacidades: búsqueda, selección y procesamiento. En la muestra de 310 estudiantes, los resultados muestran una prevalencia de nivel medio con un promedio de 69.4% en las tres capacidades.
