description Las crónicas de Jaime Bedoya nos dan cuenta de un tratamiento especial con el lenguaje. En ellas se recogen elementos presentes en los medios de comunicación tradicionales: hablamos de los clichés. En ese sentido, nuestro análisis propone la categoría de lenguaje periodístico cliché como un insumo importante de la escritura del autor y se enfoca en cómo se resignifica este tipo de discurso. Para ello, partimos de la retórica moderna y la pragmática para identificar cómo se efectúa este proceso de resignificación. Asimismo, detectamos la presencia de un registro irónico, que apela al conjunto de conocimientos que comparte el productor del texto con el lector. Bedoya explora y critica creativamente estos elementos, nos brinda una visión y tratamiento del cliché distinta a la que maneja en su uso cotidiano.
