In the HCI course of the Master Program in Informatics, of the Pontifical Catholic University of Peru, the professors proposed the active-learning approach for the teaching of several topics related to HCI such as usability, user-centered design, human factors, accessibility, ergonomics and internationalization that are nowadays relevant concepts for the design process of graphical user interfaces. For this purpose, we received the committed collaboration of a local financial entity, the BBVA Continental Bank, which voluntarily agreed to establish a set of requirements for the design of GUIs that support the implementation of new features in ATMs. This proposed exercise has allowed the students to apply what they learned in real work situations, and to consolidate the discussed concepts from practice.Revisado por paresapplication/pdf10.1007/978-3-030-20135-7_13978-303020134-021945357Advances in Intelligent Systems and Computinghttps://repositorio.usil.edu.pe/handle/usil/9088spaSpringer VerlagAdvances in Intelligent Systems and Computinginfo:eu-repo/semantics/embargoedAccesshttps://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/4.0/Universidad San Ignacio de LoyolaRepositorio Institucional - USILreponame:USIL-Institucionalinstname:Universidad San Ignacio de Loyolainstacron:USILGraphical user interfacesSoftware designSoftware engineeringUser centered designErgonomicsHuman-Computer InteractionA Teaching Experience of the Human-Computer Interaction Course in a Master Programinfo:eu-repo/semantics/articleusil/9088oai:repositorio.usil.edu.pe:usil/90882022-01-31 16:50:22.517https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/4.0/info:eu-repo/semantics/embargoedAccesshttps://repositorio.usil.edu.peRepositorio institucional de la Universidad San Ignacio de Loyolabdigital@metabiblioteca.com
