Sumario:It has been proven that the methodology applied in the course of market research, with simulation of marketing strategies Markstrat program helps to significantly improve the academic performance of Students of the specialty of Administration and Management. The research was conducted among Students of undergraduates enrolled in the course Market Research during the semester 2014-I, in two sections, for which a quasi-experimental research was designed, having considered a control group and a group experimental. Initiating the investigation an entry test to both groups, as statistical result obtained between the ratings of both no significant difference was applied. Then developed ongoing market research, differentiating for the experimental group, the application of the simulation with the Markstrat program for the control group and the course content was maintained, as was being done. At the end of the course, both groups applied a test output, and statistical analysis of grades was obtained as a result that including whether there are significant differences, determined the positive effect of the methodology with the use of Markstrat program performance Student academic Market Research specialty of Administration and Management, in the FACEE-URP.
