Se convirtió en una pandemia después de su aparición, cambió la dinámica de nuestras vidas y puso en alerta a todo el sistema de salud en el mundo. El virus genera cambios en el aparato respiratorio llevando a un “Síndrome de Dificultad Respiratoria” tiene afinidad por los receptores ACE2 presente en la mucosa de órganos específicos del cuerpo. La infección activa las reacciones innatas inespecíficas, esta respuesta a su vez causa alteración en el sistema hemostático por una respuesta macrofàgica descontrolada que a su vez produce múltiples episodios trombóticos en los pacientes con COVID-19. Objetivo: Proporcionar conocimientos actualizados sobre la respuesta inmune trombótica y sus elementos que intervienen durante su mecanismo inmunofisiopatológico, en pacientes con COVID -19. Método: revisión de literatura científica de los últimos siete meses del presente año 2020, se incluyeron estudios observacionales: estudios transversales, casos y controles y cohortes buscado en las bases de datos: pubmed.gob, biblioteca Virtual en salud (BVS), Cochrane Library Scopus. Conclusiones: la respuesta inmune trombótica es imprescindible en cuanto a la capacidad de respuesta que tienen los pacientes con COVID-19, se debe vigilar la alteración de los elementos celulares y los niveles del plasma, porque su alteración conlleva a múltiples episodios trombóticos. |

COVID 19 is a disease caused by the SARS-CoV-2 virus. It became a pandemic after its appearance, changed the dynamics of our lives and put the entire health system in the world on alert. The virus generates changes in the respiratory system leading to “Respiratory Distress Syndrome”. It has an affinity for ACE2 receptors present in the mucosa of specific organs of the body. Infection activates nonspecific innate reactions, this response in turn causes alteration in the hemostatic system due to an uncontrolled macrophagic response that in turn produces multiple thrombotic episodes in patients with COVID-19. Objective: To provide updated knowledge on the thrombotic immune response and its elements that intervene during its immunophysiopathological mechanism, in patients with COVID -19. Method: review of scientific literature of the last seven months of this year 2020, observational studies were included: cross-sectional studies, cases and controls and cohorts searched in the databases: pubmed.gob, Virtual Health Library (VHL), Cochrane Library Scopus.
