Resultados: La frecuencia de hallazgos endoscópicos compatibles con metaplasia intestinal gástrica fue 22%. La frecuencia de hallazgos anatomopatológicos compatibles con metaplasia intestinal gástrica fue 14%. La sensibilidad, especificidad, valor predictivo positivo, valor predictivo negativo y grado de concordancia de la endoscopia con el diagnóstico anatomopatológico de metaplasia intestinal gástrica fue respectivamente de 83%; 87%; 54%; 96% y 0.58 (Kappa moderada). Conclusiones: Existe concordancia moderada entre los hallazgos endoscópicos y los hallazgos anatomopatológicos de metaplasia intestinal gástrica.
