Resultados: Este estudio incluyo un total de 90 pacientes con diagnóstico de sepsis neonatal tardía, donde se observó la frecuencia de mortalidad de un 57.8%(26) en neonatos con puntaje nSOFA elevado y un 24.4%(11) con un puntaje de nSOFA no elevado, teniendo asociación estadísticamente significativa con la mortalidad (p 0.001), además, existe evidencia que demuestra que la escala nSOFA elevada genera 2.36 mayor probabilidad de deceso en los neonatos, con un RR 2.36 (IC 95% 1.34-4.18). A su vez, las variables intervinientes como prematuridad, Apgar a los 5 minutos, y peso al nacer se asociaron a la mortalidad ya que tienen un valor de p< 0,05. Results: This study included a total of 90 patients with a diagnosis of late neonatal sepsis, where the mortality frequency of 57.8%(26) was detected in neonates with a high nSOFA score and 24.4%(11) with a non-high nSOFA score. having a statistically significant association with mortality (p 0.001), in addition, there is evidence that shows that the elevated nSOFA scale generates a 2.36 greater probability of death in neonates, with an RR 2.36 (95% CI 1.34-4.18).
