Material y Métodos: Se llevó a cabo un estudio de tipo analítico, observacional, retrospectivo, de casos y controles. La población de estudio estuvo constituida por 100 pacientes según criterios de inclusión y exclusión establecidos distribuidos en dos grupos: con y sin Psoriasis vulgar. Resultados: El analisis estadistico sobre las variables en estudio como factores de riesgo fue: Sobrepeso (OR: 10.25; p<0.05), Hipertension arterial (OR: 0.34; p>0.05) y Diabetes (OR: 2.6; p<0.05). Conclusiones: El Sobrepeso, Hipertensión arterial y Diabetes son factores de riesgo asociados a Psoriasis vulgar en pacientes del Servicio de Dermatología del Hospital Víctor Lazarte Echegaray.
