La muestra estuvo conformada por 140 adultos mayores, se utilizaron dos instrumentos: el primero para medir la Autoestima en el Adulto Mayor y el segundo instrumento para medir la Calidad de Vida. Encontrándose que el 16.4% de adultos mayores tiene alto nivel de autoestima, un 50.7% tiene nivel medio, y 32.9% tiene bajo nivel. Por otro lado, en relación a calidad de vida de los participantes 20% es alta, 46.4% medio y 33.6% bajo; así mismo se identifica una asociación altamente significativa, positiva y de intensidad media, demostrada mediante la prueba de Chi cuadrado. (ﻻ2 = 23.3).
