Se propusieron varias herramientas de recolección de datos para desarrollar la investigación, se diagnosticó la condición actual y el estado de conservación del equipamiento, con las fichas de observación se pudo lograr obtener información del mercado y su entorno construido, se encuestó a comerciantes y usuarios de compras, por último, se realizó la entrevista al presidente de la asociación del mercado con el fin de poder lograr un diagnóstico de las actividades diarias del mercado minorista de abastos “Acomimar”. Finalmente, mediante el diagnóstico de la situación actual del mercado, de su entorno urbano y sus necesidades funcionales, se logró el objetivo general y se diagnosticó el estado del edificio y sus funciones comerciales, lo que requirió el uso de locales adicionales, la transformación de elementos a preservar en el mercado Acomimar para poder brindar mejores condiciones de servicios y una mejor imagen para el sector

Several data collection tools were proposed to develop the research, the current condition and state of conservation of the equipment was diagnosed, with the observation sheets it was possible to obtain information about the market and its built environment, merchants and shopping users were surveyed, finally, the president of the market association was interviewed in order to achieve a diagnosis of the daily activities of the ""Acomimar"" retail food market.
