La población y muestra estuvo constituida por los procedimientos de selección y la ejecución del presupuesto de la Municipalidad Distrital de Chicama, año 2020; teniendo como resultado que las contrataciones públicas en la Municipalidad Distrital de Chicama del año 2020 tuvieron un total de 20 procedimiento de selección, los cuales son adjudicación simplificada, subasta inversa electrónica, procedimiento especial de contratación y contratación directa, por un importe total referencial y/o estimado de S/25,707,109, con una ejecución a nivel de devengado S/4,016,723, teniendo un efecto que representa un 16% en relación a la ejecución, evidenciado el resultado con la prueba estadística en la tabla de baremos con un rango de 0%-25%, por lo que se acepta la hipótesis.
