description Determinar el nivel de conocimiento sobre salud oral durante pandemia de COVID-19 en estudiantes del Colegio Militar Ramón Castilla, Trujillo 2020. Para el análisis de los resultados se construyeron tablas de frecuencia unidimensionales y bidimensionales con sus valores absolutos y relativos, así mismo se usó gráficos de barras para presentar los resultados de la investigación. Para determinar si hay diferencia en el nivel de conocimiento entre sexo femenino y masculino y entre grados de instrucción se empleó la prueba de no paramétrica Chi cuadrado con un nivel de significancia de 5%. Resultados: Se encontró que el nivel de conocimiento sobre salud oral fue bueno (41.2%), seguido de suficiente (21.8%) y muy bueno (18.8%); según sexo el nivel de conocimiento fue bueno en las mujeres con el 43.8% y en varones el 39.2%, con una diferencia estadísticamente significativa (p = 0.0314); según el grado de estudios fue bueno en el 3er (34.5%), 4to (45.7%) y 5to grado (38.1%) respectivamente, donde no existe diferencia estadísticamente significativa (p = 0.7069). Conclusiones: Se concluye que el nivel de conocimiento sobre salud oral durante la pandemia de covid-19 en los estudiantes del colegio militar Ramón Castilla, Trujillo. 2020 fue bueno; según sexo y grado de instrucción también dio un resultado de bueno, siendo el sexo femenino y el 4to grado quienes presentaron un nivel de conocimiento con mejor porcentaje.

Material and method: Observational, descriptive and cross-sectional study. The level of knowledge of 170 high school students was evaluated using virtual questionnaires in Google Forms, who sent their response by email. To analysis the results, one-dimensional and two-dimensional frequency tables were constructed with their absolute and relative values, as well as bar graphs to present the result of the investigation. To determine if there is a difference in the level of knowledge between female and sex and between degrees of education, the non-parametric Chi-square test was used with a significance level of 5%. Results: It was found that the level of knowledge about oral health was good (41.2%), followed by sufficient (21.8%) and very good (18.8%); according to sex, the level of knowledge was good in women with 43.8% and men 39.2%, with a statistically significant difference (p= 0.0314); according to the degree of studies, it was good in the 3rd (34.5%),4th (45.7%) and 5th grade (38.1%) respectively, were there is no statistically significant difference (p = 0.7069).
