Se evaluó la validez de constructo mediante la correlación ítem test, hallándose valores entre .217 y .686, siendo superiores al valor mínimo recomendado, y también mediante análisis factorial confirmatorio, encontrándose índices de ajuste óptimos (GFI= .953, AGFI= .947, NFI= .939, RMR= .075) además, se obtuvieron los pesos factoriales de todos los ítems, los cuales alcanzaron valores entre .351 y .784; por otro lado, en cuanto a la confiabilidad por alfa de Cronbach, el instrumento a nivel global alcanzó un valor de .937 y en las dimensiones, los valores oscilaron entre .851 y .885, finalmente se elaboran los baremos percentilares y puntos de corte, concluyéndose que el instrumento posee adecuadas evidencias de validez y confiabilidad para ser utilizado en padres de familia de nidos jardines de Trujillo
