El estudio fue de tipo descriptivo correlacional y de corte transversal; la población estuvo conformada por 29 enfermeras y 29 madres de los prematuros. Se utilizaron dos instrumentos, el primero denominado “Guía de observación sobre el cuidado humanizado de la enfermera al recién nacido” y el segundo “Cuestionario sobre la ayuda de la enfermera a la madre”, Los resultados obtenidos sobre el cuidado humanizado mostraron un nivel regular con 55,2%, un nivel malo con 24,1% y nivel bueno con 20,7% Sobre la ayuda de la enfermera se encontró un nivel bueno de 69,0%, se encontró una relación significativa entre el cuidado humanizado y la ayuda de la enfermera a madres de recién nacidos del departamento de neonatología Hospital Belén de Trujillo, 2020, teniendo una significación estadística de Chi Cuadrado de 0,752 valor que indica una relación positiva (directa), además un p – valor es 0,000 menor a 0,05 representando valores significativos.

The study was descriptive, correlational and cross-sectional; the population consisted of 29 nurses.
