Esta investigación tiene como propósito fundamental, la implementación de un sistema de gestión de seguridad y salud ocupacional (SGSSO) de la empresa INDEPAL UCAYALI S.A, con la finalidad de mejorar el desempeño en seguridad y salud ocupacional, imagen y el prestigio del mismo ante los clientes, proveedores, trabajadores, público en general de la empresa; mejorando así la competitividad gracias al cumplimiento de la normativa nacional mediante la Ley N° 29783 y teniendo en cuenta la norma internacional OHSAS 18001. Para el diagnóstico y evaluación de riesgos en dicha empresa; se realizó mediante el llenado de la matriz IPER (Identificación de peligros y evaluación de riesgos) con los trabajadores de las diferentes áreas y con la toma fotográfica de las diversas actividades que desempeñe. En la empresa; se identificó que todos los trabajadores no contaban con equipos de protección personal (EPP) y los EPPs que había no lo usan para lo que estaba diseñado; ya que con ellos recolectaban aceite crudo de palma (ACP) de los florentinos y otros; según la tabla IPER, se determinó que existe 42.86 % de riesgo no tolerable, 21.43 % de riesgo importante y 35.71 % de riesgo moderado, en las actividades que desempeñan en la empresa, es por ello que se procedió a la implementación del SGSSO, obteniendo como resultados la disminución considerable bajando a riesgo moderado (35.71%), riesgo importante (14.29%), y riesgo tolerable (50%) disminuyendo el riesgo no tolerable, a un 0%. También se obtuvo beneficios notorios con respecto a la situación anterior a esta implementación, de manera que queda demostrado la mejora gracias al mencionado sistema. El presente trabajo de investigación, es un documento que servirá para la toma de decisiones en lo que se refiere a la seguridad y salud ocupacional de los trabajadores de la empresa INDEPAL UCAYALI S.A. This research has as its fundamental purpose, the implementation of a management system of occupational health and safety (SGSSO) of the company INDEPAL UCAYALI SA, with the purpose of improving the performance in occupational health and safety, image and the prestige of the same before the customers, suppliers, workers, the general public of the company; thus improving competitiveness thanks to compliance with national regulations through Law No. 29783 and taking into account the international standard OHSAS 18001. For the diagnosis and evaluation of risks in said company; It was carried out by filling the matrix IPER (Identification of hazards and risk assessment) with the workers of the different areas and with the photographic taking of the different activities that it carries out. In the company; it was identified that all workers did not have personal protective equipment (PPE) and the PPE that had not used it for what was designed; since with them they collected crude palm oil (ACP) from the Florentines and others; According to the IPER table, it was determined that there is a 42.86% non-tolerable risk, 21.43% of major risk and 35.71% of moderate risk, in the activities performed in the company, that is why the SGSSO was implemented, obtaining as a result, the considerable decrease decreasing to moderate risk (35.71%), significant risk (14.29%), and tolerable risk (50%) decreasing the non-tolerable risk, to 0%. Notorious benefits were also obtained with respect to the situation prior to this implementation, so that improvement is demonstrated thanks to the mentioned system. The present research work is a document that will be used to make decisions regarding the occupational health and safety of the workers of the company INDEPAL UCAYALI S.A.
