D ...El presente trabajo de investigación se ejecutó en el Sector Oasis, Km 2, • i 1 • carretera marginal, en el terreno del Minis~erio de Pesquería, entregapo en cesión de uso a la Universidad Nacional de San Martín, cuya posición geográfica es ·la siguiente: Longitud Oeste 76º 23' Latitud Sur 6º 29' ' . Altitud de 350 m.s.n.m. Bosque Seco Tropical El objetivo de este trabajo de tesis, tuvo como fin evaluar el mejor sistema de control de malezas. y determinar la relación costo J beneficio del mejor tratamiento. P.ara el establecimiento de est~ trabajo se utilizó como semilla de frijol Caupí la variedad Blanco Cumbaza - INIA, instalándose el cultivo el·día-·OTde Junio del 2000, realizándose la cosecha en dos fases el 07 y 12 de Agosto del mismb año • .... ·, . l respectivamente. El diseño experimental que se .utilizó fue de bloques completos rando.mizados con 04 repeticiones y 06 tratamientos. Los tratamientos ·de estudio fueron: l. Producto químico LINURON (AFALON), 2.0 Kg. de P.C./ha 2. Densidad de siembra, 0.10 m x 0.60 m 3. Substrato con cascarilla de arroz, 93 ton/ha 4. Plástico negro de polietifeno 5. Testigo con deshierbo manual 6.
