Sumario: | Estoraque (Myroxylon balsamum Linn Harms), species that used for aserrío, cabinet making dies, carpentry, parquet, etc. At present he is on the verge of extinction, because his viability of seeds is low (recalcitrant seed) and especially for the migratory agriculture that would limit the availability of seeds in quantity and quality for future projects of reforestation. In the present investigation there was evaluated the effect of two types of cutting, two lengths of cutting and three levels of area to foliate, on the capacity of rooting of storax using chambers of subirrigation, with AIB's application to (0.8 %) and type of substratum (Thick sand), which obtained better result in the first test. The test was realized in the fish-pond of the Institute of Investigations of the Amazonía Peruana in San Martin (IIAP); Using a design completely at random with arrangement trifactorial shaped by twelve treatments, Three repetitions and six cutting for experimental unit. At the conclusion of 45 days 70,17 % was obtained of rooting in intermediate cutting independently of the length and area to foliate. The rooting in intermediate cutting with 8 cm of length and 12 cm2 of area to foliate with margins of acceptable average reaching 94 %; Likewise better results were obtained for number of roots (4,54) on having interdriven basal stakes of 6 cm of length and 48 cm2 of area to foliate. It is necessary, propagator of subirrigation to reduce the irradiation, the air temperatures and of the substratum, as well as to support a high relative dampness. |
