description Los mercados de servicios auxiliares al sistema eléctrico han ido cobrando relevancia en la última década. En el interior, el mercado de regulación secundaria es cada vez mayor debido a que las fuentes de generación eléctrica basadas en convertidores electrónicos de potencia producen disminución de la inercia del sistema eléctrico, inestabilidad de la frecuencia y cambios en los sistemas de control automático de la generación. Esta investigación evalúa el poder de mercado de la reserva de regulación secundaria y lo cuantifica a través del índice de Herfindhal-Hirschman. La metodología de agrupamiento gris y peso de entropía permite distinguir qué empresas generadoras reúnen el poder de mercado y cuantificarlo de acuerdo con cinco criterios: duración total acumulada durante la regulación anual, energía promedio de la reserva máxima registrada durante la regulación anual, capacidad de reserva máxima registrada durante la regulación anual, reserva de capacidad mínima registrada durante la regulación anual y reserva de capacidad media durante la regulación anual. Además, el resultado muestra un cálculo del índice de Herfindhal-Hirschman multicriterio.
