Sumario:In this research is determined the effect of crude extract of Morinda citrifolia L "noni" in Rattus rattus var. Norvegicus to an overload of blood glucose. 32 specimens from 7 to 8 weeks old, from the National Institutes of Health-Lima, randomized into 4 groups of investigation were used; white, control, problem 1 and problem 2, to which your glucose (basal) was measured. then administered to the white group saline (5ml v.o.) and after one hour physiological solution (5 ml v.o.) was administered to the control group saline (5ml v.o.) was administered and after one hour overload glucose was administered and the group problem 1 and 2 were administered 325 mg / kg and 650 mg / Kg of crude extract Morinda citrifolia L. respectively and after one hour overload glucose was administered. Then his glucose at 30, 60, 90 and 120 minutes respectively for the 4 research groups was measured. The result was that the problem 2 group, significantly lowered blood glucose at 2 hours of administering a glucose load with a value of 78.12 mg / dl compared to the control group was 115.5 mg / dl and problem 1 group which was 106.25 mg / dl (p = 0.00135). It is concluded that the crude Morinda citrifolia L. "noni" in doses of 325 mg / kg and 650 mg / Kg to extract glucose overload Rattus rattus var. Norvegicus, it managed to significantly reduce blood glucose levels
