METODOLOGÍA: se realizó un estudio observacional, descriptivo de corte transversal en pacientes con cáncer en cuidados paliativos. RESULTADOS: La muestra de estudio estuvo conformada por 49 pacientes, el cáncer predominante fue el de cuello uterino en el sexo femenino y próstata en el masculino, el promedio del puntaje global del cuestionario EORTC QLQ-C30 fue de 64.3 puntos, se encontró un valor p al asociar la calidad de vida con cada una de las variables edad (p=0.006), educación(p<0.05), estado civil(p=0.018), laboral(p=0.019) y económico(p=0.002); lo que nos indica que son estadísticamente significativos.
