description El presente estudio tiene como finalidad determinar si el Índice neutrófilo / linfocito como predictor de severidad COVID-19 en adultos atendidos en el Servicio de Emergencia del Hospital Víctor Lazarte Echegaray, Trujillo durante el periodo Junio del 2020– Junio del 2021. Para procesar la información se llenará el registro de datos en la ficha de recolección, a partir de la cual se procesarán usando el paquete estadístico SPSS-26.0. El tamaño muestral obtenido es de 143 pacientes. Los resultados obtenidos se presentarán en Tablas tetracoricas que contendrán las cifras absolutas como también las relativas de cada ítem. Se determinará la sensibilidad, especificidad, valor predictivo positivo y valor predictivo negativo según ajuste bayesiano para los distintos valores del índice neutrófilo/linfocito como predictor de severidad en pacientes con Covid-19
