The research was carried out in the Villa Marina of the Salaverry district where a nonexperimental and descriptive cross-sectional study was designed with the main purpose of creating a Municipal Solid Waste (MSW) plan. For this purpose, a sample of 73 apartments was taken and they answered a 16-question survey to evaluate the current diagnosis of MSW. From the results it was determined that there is a deficiency that represents a risk to health and the environment, the average waste produced per person is 0.57 kg/person/day, and a volume of 165.0 kg/m3. It was identified that 80.27% of the waste is physical, 59.9% of which is organic matter, 20.32% is recyclable inorganic RS such as paper, cardboard, glass and plastic, and 19.73%.
