Strains were seeded on plates with Mueller Hinton agar, embedded discs with concentrations of 10%, 20%, 30% and 40% of the extract. The plates were incubated at 37 ° C by anaerobiosis, the halos being measured after 24 hours; All the discs presented inhibition halos, whose size increased in relation directly proportional to the concentrations used, evidencing a greater diameter of inhibition halo at 40% of the extract of 16 mm. To determine the minimum inhibitory concentration (MIC), the macrodilution method was used in tubes using 10 concentrations, from the extract that showed the highest halo of inhibition; where the CMI of 8.75%(v/v) was obtained and the minimum bactericidal concentration (CMB) was obtained by the method of planting by surface in nutritive agar, obtaining a CMB of 17.5%(v/v). El extracto se obtuvo por maceración con etanol al 40º durante una semana. Se realizó la prueba de susceptibilidad, utilizando el método de difusión en discos. Las cepas fueron sembradas en placas con agar Mueller Hinton, se colocaron discos embebidos con las concentraciones de 10%, 20%, 30% y 40% del extracto. Las placas se incubaron a 37ºC por anaerobiosis, midiéndose los halos después de las 24 horas; todos los discos presentaron halos de inhibición, cuyo tamaño aumentó en relación directamente proporcional a las concentraciones utilizadas, evidenciándose un mayor diámetro de halo de inhibición al 40% del extracto de 16 mm. Para determinar la concentración mínima inhibitoria (CMI) se utilizó el método de macrodilución en tubos utilizando 10 concentraciones, a partir del extracto que presentó mayor halo de inhibición; donde se obtuvo el CMI de 8,75% (v/v) y la concentración mínima bactericida (CMB) se obtuvo por el método de siembra por superficie en agar nutritivo, obteniéndose un CMB de 17,5% (v/v).
