Conocimiento y cumplimiento de las normas de bioseguridad en el equipo de enfermería del Hospital Belén de Trujillo

In order to determine the relationship between knowledge and compliance with bio-security standards in professional and technical nursing surgical high-risk area of Trujillo Belen Hospital, we conducted a descriptive cross-sectional, observational and correlations in 27 professional and 14 technical nursing surgical high-risk area of Trujillo Belén Hospital. We found that the level of knowledge about bio-security standards regular, represents a 77.8% and 57.1% in professional nursing technicians. Compliance EI bio-security is inefficient, representing 51.9% and 57.1% in professional nursing technicians. Taking into account both technical professionals and nursing, significant relationship (p<0.05) between knowledge and compliance with bio-security regulations in the area of high surgical risk. Considering only nurses, no significant relationship (p>0.05) between knowledge and compliance with bio-security regulations in the area of high surgical risk. Considering practical nurses only if significant relationship (p<0.05) between knowledge and compliance with bio-security standards.
