Descripción
Sumario:The effect of four constant temperatures at 17ºC, 20ºC, 26ºC and 29ºC with a control of 23ºC on biological cycle and reproductive aspects of Fiorinia fioriniae Targioni-Tozzetti, was determined in controlled laboratory conditions. The completely randomized design (CRD) was used in 80 individuals / treatment with 12:12 photoperiod, daylight = 600 ± 200 lux, RH = 65-90%. Incubation period, viability of the eggs and oviposition capacity in parthenogenetic females on incubation chambers in 18 days were determined. Biological cycle was completed and sex ratio was determined in climatized chambers on Hass "avocado". The data were analyzed with ANOVA and Tukey test in InfoStat 2017 free version. It is concluded that there was a temperature effect (p<0.05) on biological cycle that lasted 57.0 days at 26ºC and lasted up to 89.5 days at 17ºC, sex ratio was 0.012:1 at 23ºC, 26ºC and 29ºC but it was 0:1 at 17ºC and 20ºC, oviposition capacity was maximum at 26ºC with 16.1 while it was minimum at 17ºC and 20ºC with 8.9 and 9.1 respectively, the viability of the eggs was maximum at 17ºC and 26ºC with 83.5% and 80.9% but it was minimum at 29ºC with 65.5%.
