The present qualified investigation: "Impact of the implementation of the certifications ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 in the competitiveness of the mining company Yanacocha S.R.L.", it has as purpose to determine the incidence that has had the implementation of these both international certifications in the competitiveness of the mentioned mining company. First, we will diagnose the management of the current practices that are carried out in safety, occupational health and environment in the mining company Yanacocha S.R.L., using two lists of check with base in the international procedure: ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001. Later, we will establish the indicators of the Environmental Management System (SGA) and the Safety and Occupational Health (S and SO), taking as reference the Social Balance and the Reports of: Sustainability and Security and Occupational Health of the mining company Yanacocha S.R.L., analyzing the results of the above mentioned indexes. Finally, we will determine the level of improvement of the relations with the workers and the level of the internal corporate image and reputation of the company, applying a survey to the workers of the mining company Yanacocha S.R.L. All the strategies and steps previously exposed will demonstrate that the impact of the implementation of the certifications ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 in the competitiveness of the mining company Yanacocha S.R.L. is favorable, in the aspects of: relation with workers and the level of internal corporate image and reputation of this mining company.
