| Sumario: | The CASAGRANDE Company is currently having sorne areas with peor water coverage which necessarily must be addressed with either groundwater wells or leaks, being two of these, Facala and Santa Clara Administrations that during the years 2003, 2004 and 2005 generated an annual water deficit estimated at 13,966,281 m3/year. They were the most affected administrations because these fields do not have enough wells to supply water in the dry season, leaving a timely watering and the abandonment of sorne fields, resulting in tremendous losses in the production of sugar cane. This problem even after 5 years, despite new investments that the company has been making, such as drilling of new wells, implementation of old wells, canal lining, installation of modern irrigation, etc. have not been enough to ensure that the fields of these administrations have a positive water balance throughout the year. This study "Study of Alternatives for Groundwater Recovery in Sorcape Puquio Fields to the Main Canal Facalá, in the Company Casa Grande SAA'' is trying to analyze the more favorable technical and economic alternatives in the implementation of a pumping system in the study area, which will eventually ensure better water supply than it is at the moment and therefore a reduction in water imbalance present in the mentioned Administrations avoiding losses in the production of sugar cane. |
