Also the age of greater incidence in presenting/displaying hiperglicemy this between 35 and 65 years, being this one for both sexes. It is important to stress that the habitual consumption of fish in its daily diet has allowed to maintain the sanguineous glucose levels within the normal limits in the great percentage of this population. With it we can demonstrate the importance of essential oils Omega 3 and 6 in the prevention of chronic diseases like the Mellitus Diabetes |

La cantidad de muestras analizadas fueron 85 de las cuales 23 corresponden a pescadores artesanales y 62 a sus familiares. Estas fueron analizadas por el método bioquímico de la Glucosa oxidasa/peroxidasa encontrándose que el mayor porcentaje de muestras están dentro de los valores normales de glucosa. Así mismo la edad de mayor incidencia en presentar hiperglicemia esta entre 35 y 65 años, siendo ésta para ambos sexos. Es importante recalcar que el consumo habitual de pescado en su dieta diaria ha permitido mantener los niveles de glucosa sanguínea dentro de los límites normales en el gran porcentaje de dicha población.
