The purpose of this research report is to “Identify the tourist conditions presented by the district of Chota - Cajamarca Region for hotel development. According to the investigation, the Chota district has the conditions, manifested in a diversified tourist offer, it has natural and cultural tourist resources that motivate your visit, in addition to an adequate tourist infrastructure, with a network of paved roads and in an excellent state of conservation. Conservation for connectivity along the Chiclayo - Chota and Cajamarca - Chota route, also a large number of passenger transport companies that travel to the district for commercial purposes. As for the tourism potential of the district, travel motivations are mainly generated by the Patron Saint John the Baptist in the months of June and July. The district of Chota is favored by the tourist plant composed of accommodation and restaurant establishments as a condition for the development of the hotel industry. _x000D_ Currently, mostly national visitors from the cities of Chiclayo, Cajamarca Trujillo and Lima, who are interested in trade in goods and services throughout the year, arrive to the Chota District. It should be noted that the time of greatest tourist influx occurs during the months of June and July mainly motivated by the patron saint of San Juan Bautista and the famous bullfight. Tourists arriving in the district enjoy all food and lodging services during their stay. _x000D_ The urban space of the Chota district has appropriate land for hotel investment, these are located in the city and the countryside. Entrepreneurs choose to invest in hospitality, due to the large commercial movement that exists in Chota throughout the year. _x000D_ The methodology used for the development of the research was the synthetic ethnographic and analytical method in order to know the reality under study through the observation and description of these elements and identify and analyze the characteristics of the plant and tourist demand, means and transport routes, which play a decisive role in this scenario and will give us the guidelines through knowledge if it presents the necessary conditions for the development of the hotel activity.
