Los datos se recolectaron mediante una encuesta y la aplicación del “Cuestionario de nivel de conocimiento sobre salud bucal”. Resultados: Los resultados de la investigación evidencian que, de las 93 gestantes encuestados, el 48% presentó un nivel de conocimiento regular sobre salud bucal; el 33%, un nivel malo; y el 18%, un nivel bueno. En cuanto a las dimensiones, el nivel de conocimiento destacable en las gestantes sobre medidas preventivas, enfermedades bucales y atención odontológica fue regular con un 52%, 65% y 55% respectivamente, sin embargo, el nivel de conocimiento destacable sobre desarrollo dental fue malo con un 44%. Conclusión: Se concluye que, el nivel de conocimiento sobre salud bucal de las gestantes del Puesto de salud ““Pasaje Tinguiña Valle” es regular, seguido por los niveles malo y bueno.

Materials and methods: The research was quantitative, non-experimental and descriptive; The sample was made up of 93 pregnant women treated at the “Pasaje Tinguiña Valle” health post, selected by non-probabilistic and intentional sampling. The data were collected through a survey and the application of the “Oral Health Knowledge Level Questionnaire”. Results: The results of the research show that, of the 93 pregnant women surveyed, 48% presented a regular level of knowledge about oral health; 33%, a bad level; and 18%, a good level. Regarding the dimensions, the notable level of knowledge in the pregnant women about preventive measures, oral diseases and dental care was regular with 52%, 65% and 55% respectively, however, the notable level of knowledge about dental development was poor. with 44%.
