La presente investigación tiene en cuenta la vigencia de leyes y normas que sancionan el uso ilegal de software, por ello la búsqueda de información e investigación y proponer aplicaciones ofimáticas que cuenten con la licencia respectiva. Esta investigación busca determinar cuáles son los factores que influyen en la resistencia a migrar a una suite de ofimática en el parque informático de la Institución Educativa “San Luis Gonzaga” de Ica que tiene un total de 10 computadoras. El objetivo logrado fue determinar cuáles son los factores que influyen en la resistencia a migrar a una suite de ofimática basada en licencia de software libre en la Institución Educativa “San Luis Gonzaga” de Ica. Por el tipo de investigación está es aplicada y por su nivel reúne las características de un estudio descriptivo, respondiendo al método cuantitativo ya que se determina los factores de resistencia al momento de evaluar alternativas de software no licenciado que garanticen el normal desenvolvimiento de las labores y que cumplan con las normas legales correspondientes a propiedad intelectual y derechos de autor y costos y gastos de software libre; por lo que corresponde al esquema de grupo no experimental. Los instrumentos utilizados en la presente investigación, tienen los formatos estándares de software libre establecidos por los manuales autorizados, páginas e información compartida mediante icencias GNU/GPL, LGPL, Creative Commons, CC by SA y las técnicas de análisis e interpretación de datos utilizadas están respaldadas por una adecuada evaluación de costos/beneficios tomando como base la Guía Técnica sobre evaluación de Software para la Administración Pública. ----- This research takes into account the effect of laws and regulations that penalize the illegal use of software, so the search for information and research and propose office applications that have the appropriate license. This research seeks to determine what factors influence the resistance to migrating to an office suite in the computer park of the “San Luis Gonzaga” Educational Institution of Ica, which has a total of 10 computers. The objective achieved was to determine which factors influence the resistance to migrating to an office suite based on a free software license at the “San Luis Gonzaga” Educational Institution in Ica. Due to the type of research, it is applied and due to its level, it meets the characteristics of a descriptive study, responding to the quantitative method since the resistance factors are determined when evaluating unlicensed software alternatives that guarantee the normal development of the tasks and that comply with the legal regulations corresponding to intellectual property and copyright and costs and expenses of free software; therefore it corresponds to the non-experimental group scheme. The instruments used in this research have standard formats of Free Software established by the authorized manual, pages and information sharing using GNU / GPL, LGPL, Creative Commons CC by SA and techniques of analysis and interpretation of data used licenses are supported by an adequate assessment of cost / benefit basis technical assessment Guide for Public Administration Software.
