| Sumario: | The main objective of this research was to evaluate the effect of a reinforcement program on the mathematical competencies of sixth-year students at Educational Institution No. 60278, Ramón Castilla, during the year 2025. Methodologically, the research followed a quantitative approach, with a descriptive, cross-sectional, and explanatory design. Sixty students participated. Written tests were used to assess preexisting skills, and a reinforcement program was implemented, accompanied by exit assessments, to determine the level of support and improvement the program provided in learning achievement. For data analysis, descriptive statistics were applied, complemented by the Student t test and the Levene test to compare mathematical competencies. The main finding was that each of the mathematical competencies involves specific procedures for solving the problems posed, and that strengthening these procedures is essential for the development of mathematical skills and abilities that allow the proposed objectives to be achieved. The research concludes that the implemented program contributed to a significant improvement in the development of students' mathematical skills and abilities. |
