Sumario:The present investigation determines the relationship and degree of correlation between the Unemployment Rate and the Gross Added Value in the Loreto region from 2008 to 2020, as well as; analyzes the behavior of the unemployment rate and the evolution of the Gross Added Value. The research is quantitative, since the variables are measurable and the data are numerical, the research design is non-experimental, since the variables were not subjected to any experiment, the type of design is longitudinal, carried out from 2008 to 2020, to be able to show the evolution of the variables; and finally a correlational scope study was conducted. In the results, the General Hypothesis is Accepted: There is an inverse relationship between the Unemployment Rate and the Gross Added Value in the Loreto region from 2008 to 2020, since the Determination Coefficient R2 was 0.33850601355, being between 0 ? R2 ? 1, and Specific Hypothesis 3 is Rejected: The degree of correlation was excellent between the Unemployment Rate and the Gross Added Value in the Loreto region from 2008 to 2020; since the Pearson Correlation Coefficient which places r between -0.6 < r < -0.3 with a value of -0.58181269628, indicating that the correlation is minimal. With all this, it can be concluded that the variables have a relationship, but this is minimal since other factors, apart from the Gross Added Value, influenced to generate the increase in the unemployment rate.
