Sumario:The general objective of the study was to determine the relationship between the use of the virtual classroom and the development of digital skills in third level students of the professional career of Initial Education. The population consisted of 135 students, from which a sample of 84 was selected. Two instruments in Likert scale format were used for data collection. The results revealed a linear trend in which the greater the use of the virtual classroom, the greater the development of digital skills. It is concluded that the virtual classroom is significantly related to the digital skills of third level students of the Initial Education course
