Sumario:Matute & Fernández focuses on the implementation of a web-based payroll system in the company BIP BIP, with the objective of optimizing human resource management and addressing issues such as inefficiencies in payroll processing, lack of transparency, and difficulties in regulatory compliance. Through a quantitative approach and a pre-experimental design, the impact of the system on reducing the time spent on payroll preparation, attendance control, and payslip generation was evaluated. The results showed that the average time for payroll preparation was reduced from 1804 seconds to 3.1 seconds, while the time for attendance control decreased from 60.30 seconds to 6.30 seconds, and payslip generation was optimized from 1816 seconds to 3.60 seconds. These improvements were rated as "very high," demonstrating a significant optimization of the processes evaluated. In conclusion, the implementation of the web-based system not only optimizes operational processes but also contributes to improving human resource management and employee satisfaction.
