Approximately half a million women die worldwide each year as a result of pregnancy and associated complications. Most of these deaths could be prevented, not only by providing prompt and adequate medical care, but also by offering family planning counseling and services, which could prevent many future high-risk unwanted pregnancies and unsafe induced abortions, including tubal ligation. an effective and safe contraceptive method in multiparous patients. For this reason, the present work aims to determine the factors associated with the rejection of uterine tube ligation as a contraceptive method in multiple gestations treated at the Iquitos Hospital, January-June 2020. An observational-analytical study will be carried out in multiple gestations treated at the Iquitos Hospital. Department of Gynecology and Obstetrics of the Iquitos Hospital during the months of January to June. It is expected to conclude that there is an association between the identified factors and the rejection of uterine tube ligation as a contraceptive method in multiple gestations treated at the Iquitos Hospital, January-June 2020.
