Sumario:This research arises from the need to avoid conditions of thermal stress and its impact on the health of workers at the Corrientes 1 Power Plant - Trompeteros 2020.- The general objective is to determine thermal stress due to heat and its impact on the health of workers. the workers of the Corrientes 1 power plant - trumpeters 2020.- The study was framed within the research with a quantitative approach, of the prospective type. cross-sectional and non-experimental design. - The technique used was the survey and as an instrument a questionnaire of questions validated in content by expert judgment, obtaining an Aiken V value equal to 0.8850 and a Kuderd Richardson consistency with 0.823. In order to meet the general objective of this work and taking into account the types of categorical variables studied, univariate analysis was initially used through descriptive statistics, as well as bivariate analysis, using the non- parametric chi square statistic and association statistics to in order to determine the association as well as its respective characterization in symmetry (sense and/or intensity) and directionality (prediction) between thermal stress due to heat and the health of workers at the Corrientes 1-Trumpeters power plant in the year 2020. From the relationship and association between some characteristics of thermal stress with the health of the worker, a high intensity association was found between submission to thermal stress, the intensity of heat in the workplace and the hours exposed to heat with training in risk prevention measures due to thermal stress, with the health status of the worker at or a probability of 0.01.
