| Sumario: | This research analyzes the relationship between public investment and business growth in the Loreto region during the period 2010-2024. A quantitative approach was used, with a non-experimental and longitudinal design based on time series analysis. Through econometric and correlational techniques, the impact of budget execution and state investment on the number of active businesses in the region was evaluated. The results showed a significant and positive correlation between public investment and business growth, with a Spearman's Rho of 0.9029 and a p-value of 0.0412, indicating a statistically significant relationship between the two variables. Additionally, it was found that the efficiency of budget execution plays a crucial role, as periods of low execution coincided with reduced business dynamism. These findings suggest that while public investment is a key driver of growth, its impact depends on proper planning and allocation. It is recommended to strengthen public spending management, prioritizing strategic sectors that enhance productivity and business competitiveness in Loreto. Finally, strategies for productive diversification and public-private cooperation are proposed to ensure sustainable business growth in the region. |
