The variables were diameter (DAP) and total height of the plants of a forest species. The results show that in the diameter-total height relationship in the Guarea macrophylla M. Vahl “requia blanca” plants, the potential allometric model was defined as the one that best adjusted to the data of the evaluated relationship; Likewise, the degree of relationship was excellent. For predictions of the diameter-total height relationship, the power equation will be applied.La investigacion se realizó en el Arboretum “El Huayo” del Centro de Investigaciones y Enseñanza Forestal – FCF - UNAP, distrito de San Juan Bautista, provincia Maynas, región Loreto. El objetivo fue determinar el grado de relación entre diámetro - altura total en el crecimiento de las plantas de Guarea macrophylla M. Vahl “requia blanca” en bosque natural en diferentes Muestras. Las variables fueron diámetro (DAP) y altura total de las plantas de una especie forestal. Los resultados muestran que en la relación diámetro - altura total en las plantas de Guarea macrophylla M. Vahl “requia blanca” se definió al modelo alométrico potencial por ser el que más se ajustó a los datos de la relación evaluada; así mismo el grado de relación fue excelente.
