Relación entre los procesos sobre competencia desleal en el Instituto Nacional de Defensa de la Competencia y de la Protección de la Propiedad Intelectual y el crecimiento económico del Perú 2008 - 2020

Due to the increase in the number of cases of unfair competition and collusion in our country, which increase the costs of goods and services, affect the welfare of consumers and generate a series of socioeconomic problems, it is imperative that the National Institute of Defense of Competition and Protection of Intellectual Property (INDECOPI) take active action; and for this it is necessary to know all the socio-economic effects that unfair competition can cause and its correct regulation. This study seeks to determine the relationship between the increase in cases of unfair competition and the economic growth of the departments of Peru, this is done through a methodology of a non-experimental nature, quantitative and correlational design, specifically a model is used of regression of fixed effects panel data, in a sample of 312 observations, in which we found that there is a negative and significant effect (both economically and statistically) between cases of unfair competition and the economic growth of the departments of Peru, specifically, an increase in a thousand reported cases of unfair competition in INDECOPI, would decrease economic growth by approximately 0.0857%, in the same sense, the 1% increase in trade increases the average economic growth of the regions by approximately 0.44%, which is consistent with reality and theory, our results also show us They show that a decrease in unemployment by 1% increases the average economic growth of the departments by approximately 2%. All these results show great theoretical and statistical significance and show great agreement with the reality of the Peruvian economy.
