| Sumario: | The main objective of the research was to explain the effect of the application of an educational program on the learning of the ecology of flooded forests in students of the subject Ecology of flooded and non-flooded forests of the Tropical Forest Ecology Engineering course of the Faculty of Forestry Sciences. The study had an applied scope, with a quasi-experimental design, with a control and experimental group. The population was 368 students, with a sample of 61 students of the subject Ecology of floodable and non-floodable forests. Teamwork techniques, scientific research and Power Point presentations were used, and written entry and exit tests were used as data collection instruments, which were validated by expert judgment. The result of the study shows that the application of the educational program is effective in the learning of flooded forest ecology in students of the Tropical Forest Ecology Engineering course of the Faculty of Forestry Sciences, representing in the experimental group a high percentage in the bad level (79.3%), changing after the application of the educational program, to a very good level (41.4%) and good (27.6%) in the Post-test. Concluding that the educational program helped to improve the students' grades, accepting the research hypothesis. |
