Sumario:The objective of the study is to determine the impact of the audiovisual educational program "Look, read and understand" on the comprehension of students of the Education career, specializing in Language and Literature of the National University of the Peruvian Amazon, year 2024.Se use the explanatory, correlational methodology. Pre-test and posts. The sample consisted of 24 students. The results indicate that, in the literal dimension "obtains information", 37.5% of the students managed to obtain a maximum score of 20 points in both the pre-test and post-test. In the dimension "infer and interpret", an increase in the number of students with a zero grade was observed after the post-test. The maximum score recorded was 15, obtained by 8.33% of the students in both the pre-test and post-test. The application of the audiovisual educational program "Look, read and understand" is significant in the dimension "reflects and evaluates" of reading comprehension (p=0.039), however, it does not have a significant effect on reading comprehension in the dimensions, "obtains information" (P=0.844), and "infers and interprets" reading comprehension with (p=0.340). In conclusion, the Audiovisual Educational Program "Look, read and understand" is not significant (p=0.429) in the reading comprehension of students in the first semester of the specialty of Language and Literature at the National University of the Peruvian Amazon.
