| Sumario: | The research thesis entitled: Knowledge and attitudes towards abortion in adolescents of the John Paul II Educational Institution in Requena 2024, with the purpose of determining the relationship between knowledge and attitudes towards abortion in students participating in the study, was a quantitative study with a non-experimental design. A sample of 218 students of both sexes was used. Standardized instruments were used in the application of the study. The main results were 55 (25.3%) aged 14 years, 110 (50.7%) male, 170 (78.3%) had average knowledge, 102 (47.8%) had indifferent attitudes towards abortion, 76 (35%) had attitudes of acceptance towards abortion and had average knowledge about abortion. The relationship between knowledge and attitudes towards abortion variables is concluded according to the statistical test of X2 likelihood ratio 11.3 gl 4 p < 0.024 α< 0.05, so the research hypothesis is accepted: "There is a statistically significant relationship between the level of knowledge and attitudes towards abortion in the students participating in the study" |
