According to the thesis “valuation of the physical attributes and quality of the cultural landscape of the monumental area of the city of Iquitos”; The purpose is to assess the current physical characteristics of the monuments and the quality of the cultural landscape between the property and the panorama of the study area. The information was obtained from historical data and the application of structured observation according to the determined problem and the established objectives. The instruments were adapted according to the need of the study, which were three instruments: for diagnosis, to obtain the weightings of cultural values, and the final assessment of heritage. For the diagnosis of the monuments, adequate and positive results have been obtained, in the same way for the justified values, these are justified because there is a cultural richness in the architecture of the monuments; However, the results were different for the attributes, the positive ones are less than the negative attributes, finding the weakness in different indicators of the architectural type, the furniture, the roads that approach the monumental area, the vegetation that must exist to improve the landscape and general conservation of the area. In the results, the weaknesses of the monumental area can be observed, which is focused on the lack of conservation and related factors.
